The Ten All-Time Best TV Shows

First of all, these are the ten best in my opinion. I wondered about writing about MY favorites as opposed to writing about ten classic TV shows or the results of a poll, etc. I decided that nobody agrees with those results anyway, so how can you fault me on my own favorites? You should know, most of my favorite shows are old and have nothing to do with anything real or relevant. I prefer TV shows that take me away from reality rather than those that remind me of it. There’s so much I could say about each episode that I may have to write an article about each one. I’m purposely not explaining what the shows are about in a general sense. You’ve possibly seen them, or it would be easy to figure it out, but I wanted to keep it short and just focus on why I like them and what I get out of them. I would say that the one thing in common with these shows is that I can watch them repeatedly, and they never lose their charm or humor. These are not in order of importance in any way, just random. I hope you agree with some of my choices and can make some connections. Let me know what you would include if you had your own list.

Columbo — The first several seasons are entertaining and worthwhile, but the last few feel more like Murder She Wrote (not that there’s anything wrong with that) or something designed to fit a TV trend or style at the time, so I’m mostly focusing on the early episodes. For…
